~ Night Safari ~

Just had my annual staff dinner at the zoo the Sat that just passed. Food was so so but the company was great. The first time having such a "gathering" of sorts. Sadly, some of the Maths teachers are not able to make it. but still, rather fun!

Cos we went to the night safari after the Dinner! not to feed the lions n tigers of course! Tell u a secret: "it's my 1st time going to the night safari!" That's why quite excited.. Hiak hiak..

In conjunction with the Halloween Theme, they came up with people to act as Ghouls and spirits along the tram route. Some of them were really convincing.. the long-haired gals who wore red cheongsam, the auntie carrying a white lantern wearing white. They even have a mummy, a white "casper", "Scream" masked character.. Scary at first but quite hilarious when you think of it.

The design of the light and enclosure area for the animals was not bad. not very obvious that there's some sort of barrier between the animals and the walking route for the visitors. the lighting was also not too bright yet not to dimly and so the walking trail was also quite well lit.

Maybe i quite "Sua ku" but i found it a great experience to be at the night safari. at least they have more animals than the zoo.. and the deers are free to roam!! amazing.. i wonder do they get knocked down by the tram??

ok, night safari is fun!
