~ 1st Day back to School ~
Stepped back to school today.. i mean my Alma Mater.. as a teacher instead of a student.. feels wierd, uncertain, overwhelmed at the same time..there're a lot of changes to this school i dearly cherish:
- the implementation of IP has made the school a more vibrant place (maybe not as "Stoney" as before?)
- they're building a hostel right behind the school.. living on prime land leh!
- they have some discussion rooms built in the library for teachers to book and hold small group discussions or consultation.
- our dear Mrs Poon is now the VP.. she's great!
- no "live" band in the morning already.. national anthem n school anthem played through the PA system.. not as unique anymore :(
- students now tap their cards at the gate to "Sign in". teachers do not need to manually do headcount in the parade square..
- of course, most of our teachers are no longer around.. nevertheless, it still feels great that i'm joining my alma mater..
on the side note, the bus i took to school broke down this morning! luckily that bus comes so frequently, i took the next bus shortly after i alighted frm the breakdown bus.. LOL.. not so unlucky in on the 1st day, phew!!!
