Yup, "chi" means eat.. eat and eat and eat.. i think this aptly describes wat i went thru today.. i promised myself not to be a glutton, but i can't help it, cos i'm gg S'goon Gardens.. Think abt chomp chomp and other nice food places.. Aww...
Today i met Siewling at Bishan where we went window shopping. didn't get anything but shared a lot of experience in teaching. Ate the supreme platter with criss cross fries, nuggets etc at cafe cartel.. the place was nice and cosy with comfy seats. after our "tea" we made our way to S'goon gardens for "dinner" was actually quite full liao, but still the stingray was not to be missed. so we ordered sugar cane juice, stingray and carrot cake at chomp chomp. yum yum..
After the satisfying dinner, we went exploring the rustic charms of s'goon gardens. saw the rows of restuarants and shops(mostly closed) which reminded us of holland V, but smaller and less crowded than the latter. we saw a Gelato shop which sells Gelato cheaper than other places. $2.90 for a single scoop!! and it was indeed delicious as well.. but since both of us were so greedy, we ordered a TUB!! haha.. it was cheap, considered it was Gelato..
So after the Gelato which rounded off our day, we headed back home.. tummy satisfied ( and fatter)
next event to look out for -- Chalet BBQ "Chi!"
